5% for rentals lasting 2 or more weeks;
5% for bookings paid 4 or more months in advance.

Bareboat policy and cancellation fees

Amount of the Booking Guarantee: up to 30 days before the date of departure; 75% of the invoice amount: Up to 15 days before the date of departure; 100% of the invoice amount: Within the 15 days before the date of departure.
In the event of cancellation caused by technical reasons of the operator, the amounts paid will be refunded without the right to any further compensation.

GoldenSail - Azores Yacht Charter was established in March 2014 with the purpose of offering a sea tourist activity that did not exist on the island of Santa Maria and of making a modern sailboat available for rental with or without crew.
Our passion for the sea sustained by the motivation of welcoming every customer as a new friend is the foundation for the way how we intend to receive all of those who come to us.

Over 500 years after Christopher Columbus passed by the island, Santa Maria is once again at the service of discoveries, this time for the discovery of the natural wonders of the islands of the Azores!

Under Maritime Tour Operator license number 2/2015, approved by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism and Transport of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, the company Roberto Furtado Unipessoal, Lda. fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations governing its activity and has taken out all insurance required by law.

The sailboat offers the highest comfort on board and all safety equipment and is subjected to periodic inspections by local authorities in order to meet all safety standards.
